Dear everyone,
Just before what we hope will be a slightly quieter time, we wanted to reach out to you once more. We would like to thank you for a fantastic Roxy year – for your orders, your feedback, and your patience.
About a week and a half ago, we were able to check off a major milestone in our project plan: we released a new version of the Roxy app and rolled out new firmware for the machine. Since then, the app includes the Barista Home mode – ideal for beginners, with a simplified interface and a grind size evaluation for the standard profiles. We have also improved the standard profiles themselves.
In the header of the app, behind the Roxy “O,” you’ll now find the control center, from which you can, for example, start the descaling process. The firmware improves the connection between the app and the machine, and we’ve also fixed a few smaller bugs along the way.
The machines we shipped last week are already running on the new firmware version. Those of you who already own a Roxy can access the new firmware via the app update.
We will not be shipping any machines around the holidays. We want to avoid machines being exposed to the cold for extended periods and potentially developing condensation issues due to temperature changes.
Starting in the second calendar week of the new year, we will begin shipping the Roxy coffee machines that were ordered from December onward. Our service team will also be available throughout Christmas and the turn of the year at service@roxy-espresso.com.
