Dear everyone,
We have news: we’re launching the regular sale of the Roxy! This is a huge milestone for us—read on to find out what you need to do if you want to get your hands on a Roxy.
But first, a bit of background: it took some time, but now all the machines from the first pre-order batch have been delivered. We’re currently assembling the machines from the second pre-order campaign in February; the first half of those are already on their way to you. Delivery will continue through the second half of July.
In addition to putting the machines together, we’re working on optimizing the app and adding new features. These include automatic step-advancing by weight and support for additional scales. We’ve also revisited the barista-light control. The last shot you pull will now be saved on the Roxy itself and can be retrieved later if you ever pull a shot without the app.
And because coffee—and talking about coffee—is such a social thing for us, this new version of the app will finally let you share and discuss shots and profiles with others. These features are currently in testing and will be activated soon.
For the past few months, all Roxy owners have been able to join the Roxy Discord forum. We discuss the machine there, exchange tips, troubleshoot issues, and, of course, talk a lot about coffee. We’re always blown away by the community that’s grown up around the Roxy.
And now, back to the beginning: regular sales of the Roxy are starting. You can now order the machine through the shop on our website. The Roxy will be available in black and white—there will be no blue-anodized version for now. It will be delivered with a portafilter, tamper, filter basket, and filter. For the time being, shipping is limited to Germany and Austria. If you’d like to order a machine from Switzerland, please send us an email. More countries will follow. |
